Our Freehouse operates alongside our principal supplier Wells & Young amongst others, famous for their Bombardier and London Gold.
We also work with three independent local breweries; Hook Norton, North Cotswold Brewery and Purity. We always rotate our beers, but aim to have a Session Ale (3.4%), a Golden Ale, a Brown Ale and Director’s Level Ale.
Our extensive and well balanced wine list contains Reds and Whites from around the world from classic Sauvignon and Pinot to more unusual varieties such as Gruner Veltliner.
Our Champagne comes from independent producers Gratiot- Pilliere. Established in 1657, their 45 acre vineyard is situated in the Marne Valley in the heart of Pinot Meunier country and now in its 11th Generation, has been run by the same family ever since.
The Churchill Arms pub wouldn’t be complete without a bottle of its namesakes Port which sits snuggly alongside our extensive range of spirits and mixers.
The bar also holds great significance for Chef Proprietor Nick Deverell-Smith. As a local boy eating at The Churchill with his family was a regular fixture and it was here, in the corner on Table Four, that they all shared their last meal with his Grandfather. In a story that comes full circle and with family at this pub’s heart, it is that Grandfather’s bell that now hangs proudly behind the Churchill bar and does the honours of calling last orders.View our Wine and Ales
